12 DOT 3 Street (off of Route 28 North)
PO Box 60
Alton, NH 03809
Features: True, this is not really a museum, but in a state with a lack of auto museums it deserves mention in this guide because of its 10,000 square foot showroom that houses an extensive inventory of owned consigned motorcycles, rods, classics and muscle cars. Obviously, open to the public.
Carrol St. Auto
68 Carroll Street
Manchester, NH 03102
Features: Like Alton Motorsports (above), this is not really a museum but it gets a mention because of its large browse-around inventory of classic and muscle cars such as Mustangs, GTOs, Chevelles, Chargers, Road Runners, Camaros, Novas, etc.
77 Center Street
Features: This is a museum complex with three separate and distinct buildings. The Home Front and theater, the two-story educational building or Visitor's Center and the military building which houses memorabilia from all branches of service from WWII including a large collection of military vehicles from this era -- tanks, halftracks, jeeps, an ambulance, motorcycles and the only existing operational American tank to cross the Rhine River in Germany.
